Queens Counseling for Change, LCSW, LLP (QCC), provides behavioral counseling services. Services are provided by licensed counselors with many years of experience in the field. The agency is led by Larry Menzie, LCSW/R and Beth Covelli, LCSW/R social workers with over 25yrs of experience providing services in a variety of settings. QCC understands entering counseling whether mandated or voluntary is a big step and you or your support system may have many questions or not know what to expect. While many questions can only be answered by meeting with you our FAQ page is a great place to start.

QCC is pleased to announce many forms of Medicaid, and Private Insurances are now accepted. At this time insurance is only accepted for Problematic Sexual Behaviors. For a complete and up to date list go to our Treatment Information page.
The agency also works with those that do not have access to or choose not to use their insurance coverage for whatever reason. Fees are reasonable and can be paid with cash, credit card or check. Sliding scale fees are considered on a case by case basis with appropriate documentation.

QCC is seeking to expand the languages it can accommodate. If you speak a secondary language and are licensed we have a variety of hours open to conduct individual or groups sessions. Contact Larry Menzie to discuss further. Larry@QCFC.org
How to schedule an intake appointment or let us know you will not be in for a scheduled service
Call 914-348-1920 (temporary voice mail) to schedule an intake appointment. You will be asked for your name, call back number, insurance information (if applicable), who is sending you and for what service. Have a pen ready to write down the date and time. Please ensure your insurance information is confirmed 2 business days prior to your intake appointment. The agency will verify it is active and if you are responsible for co-payments. Failure to do so may result in your appointment being cancelled or rescheduled. Most questions including our address can be found in our FAQ page or you may text a general question to 347-369-4310 and your question will be answered within 24 hours.
If you can not attend your group text 347-369-4310 or call 718-303-4320. This is not to be used for cancelling an intake or individual session, call our main number to reschedule.
Group cancellations will not be accepted unless you text or call this number.
Please leave a clear message with your name, group, and reason for cancellation. This number is voicemail only; do not call repeatedly in an attempt to speak with someone. All information will be placed in your file regarding your call.
